Raven

This project is suggested for Canadian animal studies but is suitable for other grade levels as well.

Ravens are similar to crows in appearance but larger, with heavier bills. It is the only raven native to Canada and is found from the high arctic islands across to Newfoundland. It is not found in central Alberta, southwestern Manitoba and central and southern Saskatchewan. 

This example is air dried but it can be kiln fired as well.
